Good view from all of the seats in the facility. Was in Attendance for a Jason Aldean concert. Sound was great and the show was great. The alcohol was extremely over priced and there could have been more restroom facilities in the parking lots.
The sound in this place is terrible. Sounds like $10 speakers. Or even some $10 speakers sound better. No details at all, can't make out words at all. Too bad such great bands as Deep Purple, the pioneers of great sound, choose this place to perform.
Food prices are crazy. Like in Madison Square Garden. $16 for a large beer? Is this a joke???
I love this venue. It's beautiful, and I've had so many perfect weather concert nights. It's a bit of a downer if it rains, but still a great place for a summer concert. Parking is a bit of a pain. If you're not married to drinking and have lawn seats, I'd recommend sitting in the family section of the lawn to avoid the masses.
Nice open venue. Sound is good. Lawn seats are cheap but if it rains you're out of luck. Would love to see some sort of markers in the lawn to remember where your spot is. Once it fills up, I find it hard to get back from getting a drink or using the bathroom especially in the dark!
PNC Bank Arts Center is easily my least favorite concert venue. The staff is awful and negligent. At the Feed the Machine Tour, people were standing in the aisles and in front of the railing in the main aisle blocking paid ticketholders' views, and were only rarely asked to move by one staff member (and ignored by others). Two concertgoers were drunk and dancing on the railing, and kept spilling beers on the people around them. The concessions were a mess. We were on line for 10 minutes at one cart near the entrance, only two find out one of the two things they sold (custard and Italian Ices - we wanted one of each) was sold out. During the next break, we walked to the other side to get our order and waited on line for ~20 minutes (the entire intermission) only to find out they were out of Italian Ice when one mom loudly told her child "Come on, we waited all that time and they don't even have ices!" I don't know why they didn't put up a sign or yell back to the line they were out of stock. There are also tons of vendors trying to get your email and number, then calling you because you "won a free vacation." No, thanks! The parking situation is also ridiculous if you don't pay for VIP parking, and even VIP is a mess if you get there after the openers. Definitely avoid this place!
