Holmdel PD helped out today with traffic on a large funeral procession. I have to commend them on doing a great job with class and dignity. Mine and my family gratitude to you all.
2 weeks ago I was brought into the dept. for questioning regarding an incident from work'. I have no criminal record. I ask for a lawyer. The "detective" questioning me brought in another person and I was told he was a lawyer. He had on a gold shield that said "sergeant" and a side arm. A violation of my rights. I asked to use the bathroom and was forced to use a toilet in a jail cell. Hours later I was released. I have called the dept. up at least 5 times for a copy of the report . No reply or people getting back. It's funny how a policeman can lie and manipulate people on one hand but then demand respect and support on the other. Really?
I love the Holmdel police department they have our children's interest at heart

One of the best police departments in the state in my opinion. Very Professional and educated individuals. I lived in Holmdel for 4 years. I had an incident once at my house with some idiots throwing rocks at our windows every night usually at 10pm. It was very unsettling. We called the Holmdel police right away and they came very fast and after a few days of this going on were we had to keep calling them. They finally caught the people doing the vandalism. They were even kind enough to let us know that the people that broke our window were arrested. we never had a problem again. Thank you Holmdel police.
Mom passed away last Aug at 102 years of age....the HPD came one time for a lift assist and also kept vigil whenever Mom needed transport to Riverview and finally they were here when Mom passed away in my home....never saw such sincere warmth, compassion and concern. May angels stand at your sides and shield you always!!!
